Where did the project name originate?
Quote from “Princess Bride”
Kathryn was formerly left-handed.

Tell us about Canada! (and Kickstarter)
Went last October for Irish-Canadian Festival
NxNE (North by Northeast)
Drummer lives in London

What prompted the move to California?
Lose green card unless you actually move to the US.
first US-tour was a couple years ago. -- stayed in 15 different people’s homes.
went to a miniature pony ranch near LA.

Tell us about the band
Kathryn is from the west. Daniel is from Northern Ireland, but lived in Dublin for years.
5 different drummers...then Kathryn went to American and Daniel went to London...where he met the drummer.
Drummer got burned out on trying to hype his music. He’s a metal drummer!

What are your ambitions for the band?
Kathryn likes Japanese horror.
Andie MacDowell almost picked them!
Soundtracks would be awesome!

What drew you to Creative Commons?
Didn’t know much about it at first.
The more Daniel read, the more interested he got.
Many of Daniel’s friends are gamers and Linux users.

What are your other projects, if any?
some new synthy-dance stuff

What hardward and software do you use for the dance-synth stuff?
Most is still recorded life.

How much do you tour?
Formerly toured consistently. It’s expensive.

More of an idea for the Internet.

There’s a rivalry with The Flaming Lips!

Is there anything else you would like to say/tell us about?
Continental European shows coming in Amsterdam
Experimental stuff! -- old stuff was more live-driven. Now the stuff is more studio-based. Trying to getting them perfect. Bobby Newman is a viola player.
