Give us an overview of your project
started as single artist.
He comes from rock.

Where did the project name originate?
It just happened!
visceral - Relating to deep inward feelings rather than to the intellect: "the voters' visceral fear of change"

When did it all start?
first EP started in 2009 or 2010...it took a long time.
Only doing music now! ...so

Started second album in 2011

What programs and processes do you use?
Cubase...and synth!
guitar and base are not samples

What are your ambitions for the project?
played guitar since he was a child.
a natural progression

What happened to the old bands?
split up...we weren’t that good

So, full time?
was studying for masters degree in audio technology
working on a

What drew you to Creative Commons?
Songs were finished...and just wanted to get a reaction. Was the “obvious” way to do it.

Why do you use the the license you use?
not because Headphonica, but that’s what they use!

What reactions have you gotten?
positive in Berlin, but not a lot

Speaking of Headphonica, what is it like being on the label?
something in between traditional label and mp3 blog!

still figuring it out.
guitarist has lots of effects
Florian is playing bass.
Florian is not a fan of backing tracks...but sometimes it makes sense.

There was a CC birthday party...but he missed it.

How did you find your band?
Tried over the Internet...but then a friend stepped in and brought a drummer.

What are some of your favorite bands/artists/genres, CC or otherwise?
NIN! David Lynch (not music, but inspires the Visciera music)
