How did Brad get involved in podcasting?

Give us an overview of your band
Recordings are just Brad. It’s always been solo. He has help mixing and mastering.
He has a live band! ...which are pretty good! (and handsome)
Before we get more into where you’ve been, we want to make sure we give you an opportunity to talk about the new album.
Guess Who’s a Mess? Tom is! and it’s the new album from Brad Sucks
It’s a very loud album. As close to NIN as Brad thinks he’ll ever get.
Guilt and shame and stuff. Woah. This is deep!
Where do you record?
At home! with a few more mics and guitars than most people!

What are your ambitions for the project?
Shows in Ontario
20 songs or so that could be used for the next album.
How much do you play live?
A few solo shows...
Boston & Denver, but not much of a tourer.
What drew you to Creative Commons?
back when Napster was around, Brad embraced it!
All of his old source tracks are on CCmixter, and the new ones will be as well
Brad Sucks and SoundClound...not so much.

Why do you use the the license you use?
He had BY initially.
Magnatune requires ShareAlike...or something.
What is the Creative Commons culture like in Canada/Ontario?
Brad is a huge nerd...so he says.
He might have come across it on a site called metafilter.
So what about Quebec?
nothing racist here!
Where did the project name originate?
Pearl Jam apparently has a side project named...Brad.
How do you promote yourself?
Early on he did a lot, but now he relies on the momentum of sharing.
People get worried about getting ripped off...but obscurity is worse Brad says.
If your stuff is not on a “pirate” site, no one cares!
What about cats?
he is allergic to cats! ...or perhaps sneakiness
Have you had any “famous” people do remixes?
Psycraft in Isreal...possibly more famous that Brad’s stuff! link

So many!
NIN, Skinny Puppy, Ministry all suggested the one-man-band route.
Revolting Cocks old lineup. Lard. Jello Biafra.
Tom brings up Lead Into Gold.
